I was awarded a scholarship for a master’s degree, in Technology Innovation (MSc in Digital Innovation) at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. The Irish Government also offers research scholarships for masters and doctoral courses at Irish educational institutions. You can find out about post-bachelor scholarship opportunities here. Many other educational institutions also often offer some scholarships for students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Why did you choose to study in Ireland instead of another one?
I received this scholarship as well as grace. I originally prepared 3 applications for IDEAS, New Zealand and Fulbright scholarships. These are countries with long-standing and highly developed education systems, which are also the destination of many talented students in the world. I chose Ireland because I enjoyed the registered field of study, in addition to Ireland, which is famous for its peace and rich natural ecosystems, I love to explore the mountains so I want to have a day. set foot on this emerald island. Compared to European countries, the Irish people are very friendly, sociable, something similar to people in Asian countries. IDEAS was the first scholarship I applied for and got accepted, and I decided to choose Ireland.
In your opinion, what makes the difference of this scholarship compared to other post-bachelor scholarships?
IDEAS is the only government scholarship currently offering only masters courses in economics, including MBA.
In addition to tuition assistance, scholarship students also receive a monthly stipend equivalent to 1,300 euros, health insurance, textbooks, and personal belongings.
How much time did it take you to prepare this application package?
IDEAS scholarships start accepting applications around December each year. Before that, I spent about 4 months to finish preparing the documents and applied. Because the school will review and call Skype interview immediately if you meet (rolling basic) so it is best, you prepare to apply early before Christmas about 1-2 weeks, if not waiting until after 10/1 (Christmas and New Year holidays), the new school continues to process applications. I applied at the end of December and by early May of next year, there was an official result from the Irish embassy.
